Get to Know me

Hello, my name is Sara Bauman, I am currently a Senior at North Dakota State University with a Major in the School of Design, Architecture and Art with a focus on Interior Design. I have also completed an Entrepreneurship minor at NDSU.

Let us take a step back in the introduction, I am originally from a small town on the coast of Alaska, Valdez. Many people ask me why I chose North Dakota of all places. I proudly tell them I chose North Dakota to pursue Interior Design and my sport; that being a club sport. NDSU being one of the only schools to offer both of my wants, I came here.

As a kid, I grew up with a dad that could do any project he was faced with. That lit a spark in me, I'd redesign my room, either in a drawing or verbally and he'd help me put it to life. Being able to have creative freedom growing up, helped me to see where I want to be and do. Interior Design has been a passion of mine for a long time and I cannot wait to see where it takes me.
